around Sligo has its share of marvellous landscape and ancient ruins, but was also the home of the Yeats family, of whom W.B. Yeats the writer and Jack B. Yeats the painter are the most renowned. This is a wonderful county for touring with many medieval and early Christian churches and Castles. Horse riders, walkers, divers and pub enthusiasts will enjoy this county.
